Web software solutions  e-DRG

e-DRG enables an analysis of DRG data from all 24 hospitals at the national level. Statistics accumulation using the method DRG requires a modern, safe and reliable technical support, which is implemented through the project e-DRG, as well as through the project of introduction of information-technological infrastructure for safe and controlled transmission and data processing. e-DRG assures DRG data collections at the national level. Data collected from all 24 hospitals taking part in this project with over 300.000 expected number of reported cases per year is also analysed at the national level and can be used for compliance testing, storing, reporting, comparison between hospitals and for determination of treatment priority.

Infonet has been supporting this process since the beginning of the project during the design, development and implementation phases. Moreover, in 2004 Infonet has been awarded a project of refining/rebuilding the e-DRG web-based application, which he has successfully implemented in 2005.
The client of the project for healthcare system administration e-DRG is the Ministry of Health together with the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Slovenia.

The e-DRG web application strives with its functionalities to make an important contribution to achieving the expected results of the DRG system.
