iRIS – a system for work support in functional diagnostics and integration of digital appliances with BIRPIS21/ ISOZ21

iRIS is our new solution intended for all departments where images or videos are produced. Our principal idea during the development of this solution was complete integration of all appliances, which resulted in development of our own PACS system, in contrast to other PACS/RIS product suppliers. Our PACS system in completely integrated with our hospital information system BIRPIS21 and our primary healthcare information system ISOZ21.
iRIS supports different modalities, such as a radiology department (MR, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, …), endoscopy, colonoscopy, laryngoscopy, laparoscopy, histology, cardiology departments with an ultrasound device, a doppler, different cameras, etc.
The use of standards is very important here. Our solution iRIS is completely localized (local writings) and standardized, due to the use of the standards DICOM and HL7.
