New SRC Infonet website

After a few months of work here at SRC Infonet, we were finally able to introduce our new and improved web site beginning in the middle of September 2010.

Beside the content actualization, the main purpose of this was the transfer from the static to dynamic style web site – if it was necessary before to communicate each change to the site and order these changes from an outsourced performer, we can now edit all content right in our own house. Looking at the ever-changing situation here at SRC Infonet, our solutions are constantly updated and improved, and with this we wish to enable our product heads to have a clear and up-to-date product presentation.

The site was completely redone with our own resources (special thanks to Aleš Kalan for setting up the site and Uroš Kralj for most of the text), some mentoring help was also received from the home company SRC, where we should thank Jure Mav and Mišo Jović.

The web site was due to lack of resources in the first phase designed very minimalistic, however regardless of that we were able to cover all the content which we wished to present to our potential clients as well as our existing ones.

Visitors to the web site will now have more options for finding the exact content they are interested in. They can find it either by the type of institution they are employed in (hospitals, health centers, private clinics, laboratories), or according to the type of work the perform (doctor, other medical staff, director, administrative personnel, information system coordinator). They can also search through the catalogue of our most important products. There is also a special product intended for patients as well as “our partners’ clients”.

As well as before, there is a part of the website devoted to customer support, which can be accessed only with a special password. For now we have preserved our existing functionalities (error reporting, handled reports status and new version implementation), but we do intend to expand the content to include training (posting instructions, manuals, tutorials, answers to common questions etc.).

The website is currently available in Slovene and English.
