Health Information Standards Project (Bulgaria)
From 2000 to 2003 we were involved in an international
health sector reform project called »International Consultant
in Health Information Standards«, which was financed by the
World Bank and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of
Bulgaria. The purpose of the project was to provide health
data standards and the appropriate mechanism for the adoption
of suitable standards for data collection for Bulgaria.
The project consisted of several components:
- improvement of
service standards of primary and outpatient healthcare
and quality assurance,
- improvement of hospital healthcare,
- improvement of distribution
of health financing,
- improvement of health facility infrastructure
and project management.
Project for preparation of an economic and technically
feasible concept for Chip Card based Health Insurance System
in the Republic of Macedonia
Using our knowledge gained from the project of implementation
of the Health Insurance Card into the Slovenian healthcare
system we were involved in the project financed by the World
Bank and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Macedonia,
which was performed from 1999 to 2000 and dealt with the
preparation of an economic and technically feasible concept
for Chip Card based Health Insurance System in the Republic
of Macedonia. |
