BIRPIS21 for Hospitals  modules

Besides supporting basic patient contacts, BIRPIS21 also enables many additional functionalities, which depend on the way of work method in a particular unit or activity, which it performs:

• communication with a laboratory;
• communication with a radiology IS (in co-operation with the General hospital Izola we have integrated our system with a PACS system developed by the AGFA company);
• tracking, analyses and transmission of data on diagnosis related groups (DRG);
• up-to-date tracking of data on in-patient diets in a ward and kitchen;
• categorization of nursing care and monitoring engagement of particular nurse units;
• patient orders monitoring from an order to an activity execution using an electronic waiting list;
• managing and handling the scheduling of different procedures with a longer waiting period;
• pathological laboratories;
• cytological laboratories.
