BIRPIS21 (Hospital Integrated Computer Aided Information System) is the most integrated part of SRC Infonet’s software package and is developed to support all information needs in the hospital. It enables monitoring of all processes regarding a patient in different hospital units or activities, carried out by the hospital. It contains all modules necessary for the efficient functioning of the whole hospital, as well essential administrative functions and high-technology medical functions. The patient is always treated as a central entity in the system.

In SRC Infonet we are constantly implementing new additions and upgrades to the BIRPIS21 information system in order to satisfy the requirements of the profession, business partners and government institutions at all times. Due to the wide range of potential users, we have already developed a number of specialized solutions or modules. Moreover, BIRPIS21 can be linked into a complete IT solution with various software products for work support in the laboratory (e.g. L@b-IS®), radiological information systems (e.g. iRIS21) and similar. With the development of a communication platform medGateway we also set up the necessary infrastructure for document exchange (referrals, orders, results, discharge letters, etc.) with other medical institutions and between individual healthcare providers at different levels of healthcare.
