SRC Infonet implemented the solution iRIS21 for digitiziation of X-ray, which enables transmission of referrals from the health information systems ISOZ21 into the radiological information system IRIS21 and modality of digital x-ray.
Radiological images in digital form are archived in the PACS files archive on a network drive NAS.
A radiologist reviews the images on diagnostic monitors and at the same time writes a report, which is printed to paper; images with a medical report are saved on a DVD, which a patient gives to his physician.
When the radiologist finishes the review in IRIS21, the report in a text format is transferred to the patient's contact in ISOZ21. Other doctors in the health center can then access the images through ISOZ21.
IRIS21 is completely integrated into the information system ISOZ21, which has previously been installed at the client. SRC Infonet also supplied a diagnostic workstation with high-capacity radiological monitors with 3MP resolution and two network NAS drives for archiving digital images and a full backup.
